Terms of Reference:   Tour Committee

Main purpose of the committee: The Tour Committee shall be responsible to the Executive Management Committee for the administration of the affairs of the Club within its objectives and policies.

Actual duties involved:

  • To co-ordinate the Club's close season Tours
  • To identify and recommend suitable venues, communicate to playing members and make all the necessary arrangements including transport, flights, rooms and entertainment, etc
  • To ensure the timely collection of non-refundable deposits and balances from Tour Party
  • To arrange the ordering and production of any Tour merchandise
  • To delegate appropriate responsibilities to members of the Tour party (when on Tour)

Liaison with:

  • Hon. Treasurer
  • Playing Members
  • Members

Responsible to:

  • The Executive Management Committee

Personnel on the committee: Chairperson is the Tour Co-ordinator, plus Hon. Treasurer, Club Captain and two Members.
