Terms of Reference:   Social Committee

Main purpose of the committee: The Social Committee shall be responsible to the Executive Management Committee for the administration of the affairs of the Club within its objectives and policies.

Actual duties involved:

• To take collective responsibility for the management and organisation of all the Club's social and fund raising events
• To support the Social Secretary in planning, organising and delivering various social events throughout the year
• To raise funds for the Club in line with the Club's budget expectations
• To raise the awareness of the Club within the local community
• To ensure that the Club receives good profile and exposure in the promotion of events
• To ensure all Members have an opportunity to participate in and enjoy a range of varied social events throughout the year

Liaison with:

• Social Secretary
• Hon. Treasurer
• Facilities Committee

Responsible to:

The Executive Management Committee

Personnel on the committee: Chairperson is the Social Secretary, plus Hon. Treasurer, and two member volunteers.
