Terms of Reference - Playing Committee

Main purpose of committee:   The playing committee shall be responsible to the management committee for the playing and development affairs of the club within its objectives and policies.

Actual duties involved

• To encourage players to attend training sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays
• To select the playing teams from the available players (Members only)
• To communicate any match changes/needs with Fixture Secretary
• To manage and co-ordinate all playing and development activities including coach education.
• To maintain First Aid Kit and Medical Bag to match requirements and ensure supplies are re-ordered in timely manner though Hon.Treasurer or Hon. Secretary
• To coordinate structured support teams for club playing XV's - Senior, Youth & Minis.

Liaison with:

• The Executive Management Committee
• Fixture Secretary
• Players

Personnel on the committee: Chairperson is Club Captain, Head Coach, and 1st XV Captain
