Terms of Reference - Finance & Funding Committee

Main purpose of committee: The funding & finance committee shall be responsible to the management committee for the administration of the affairs of the club within its objectives and policies.

Actual duties involved

  • To make recommendations on policy for funding of the Club.
  • To make recommendations on policy for the distribution of international tickets to Club Members
  • To review the financial stability of the Club, and, if necessary, recommend appropriate action to the management committee.
  • To review prior to submission to the management committee and the general committee the proposed annual budget of the Club, with a view to recommending the same to the management committee or making proposed alterations for consideration and approval by the management committee and/or, at its discretion, the general committee.
  • To monitor and control the costs and budgets for sub committees.

Liaison with: The Executive Management Committee, all Club sub-committees.

Responsible to: The Executive Management Committee

Personnel on the committee: Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary, Sponsorship Secretary and Membership Secretary
