Terms of Reference:   Facilities Committee

Main purpose of the committee: The Facilities Committee shall be responsible to the Executive Management Committee for the administration of the affairs of the Club within its objectives and policies.

Actual duties involved:

  • To ensure the Clubhouse is maintained and kept clean and tidy
  • To ensure the bar is kept stocked and controlled and orders properly conducted
  • To ensure bar is operated by approved persons (adults)
  • To report any accidents in the Club's Accident Log Book
  • To report to the police an/or Town Council any acts of violence, theft or malice aforethought against property or Members
  • To ensure the Club's liability insurance policy is displayed
  • To ensure only Members have access to the Clubhouse and are served at the bar.
  • To maintain a visitors record book

Liaison with:

  • Hon. Treasurer
  • The Finance & Funding Committee

Responsible to:

  • The Executive Management Committee

Personnel on the committee: Chairperson is the Hon. Secretary, plus Chairman, Hon. Treasurer and Clubhouse Manager
