Terms of Reference:   Disciplinary Committee

Main purpose of the committee: The Disciplinary Committee shall be responsible to the Executive Management Committee for the administration of the affairs of the Club within its objectives and policies.

Actual duties involved:

• To ensure all Members are aware of the RFU's guidelines on discipline and code of conduct
• To ensure the Club acts within the RFU's Disciplinary Rules at all times
• To act promptly and convene a Disciplinary Meeting regarding any playing or non-playing Member(s) who has been disciplined by match officials during a senior game
• To take any additional disciplinary action that may be deemed appropriate
• To communicate the decision of the Club's Disciplinary Committee promptly to the player(s), appropriate authorities and the team

• Club Captain
• 1 st XV Captain

Responsible to:

• The Executive Management Committee

Personnel on the committee: Chairperson is the Suffolk RFU Rep acting as the Disciplinary Secretary, plus Chairman, Hon. Treasurer, Club Captain and 1 st XV Captain.
